What to expect
A confidential assessment is undertaken and time is spent listening to your concerns. Mental health issues such as mood, worries and life stressors are reviewed. We examine relevant family, personal and social life factors as well as current circumstances and daily activities. You are treated respectfully and openly so that key issues can be identified. Finally an appropriate intervention is discussed and an agreement is made to begin treatment.
The therapeutic work continues at each appointment as we work toward your goals. At the end of each session you are asked to give feedback, so that adjustment to treatment can be made to achieve the best possible outcome.
